Colostrum Loading

The fictional practice of front-loading an infant's first 72 hours with 'liquid gold' as though it were a seed round. In the real world, feeding your baby — however you do it — is the whole protocol.

Nap Margin

The imaginary spread between the nap your child took and the nap the internet says they should have taken. A negative nap margin is not a portfolio event. It is Tuesday.

Guilt Offset

A satirical carbon-credit analogue in which American parental guilt is offshored to relaxed European households. There is no market. You can simply feel less guilty for free.

Compliance Score

ParentingMaxxing's 0–999 rating of how obedient you are to optimization culture. It is fake, it is arbitrary, and it goes down when you hug your child, which should tell you everything.

Asset Pivot

A Tantrum SWAT phase in which the negotiator redirects a melting-down toddler's attention. Every parent already invented this independently. It is called 'look, a dog.'

Liquidity Event

Age 18, reframed as an exit. Treating a child's adulthood as a return on invested capital is the joke. Please do not build a cap table for your kindergartner.

Unstructured Hug

An unhedged emotional liability in PMX accounting, and the single highest-value thing on this entire website in real life.

Jaw-Line Maxx

A parody SKU implying that a pacifier can pre-engineer facial structure. It cannot. Nothing sold to a toddler determines their bone structure or their worth.

Optimization Window

The claim that a developmental door is closing right now and you are already late. Almost always marketing. Children develop on wildly variable, entirely normal timelines.

Parenting Exposure

PMX's measure of how deeply you have internalized optimization pressure. High exposure is not a badge. It is a signal to close the tab and go outside.
